About Valsamo
Valsamo is a small family shop in Stalída, on the north coast of Crete. Stelios and Efi run it. We both grew up with the things now on the shelves. Olive oil came from a press down the road, thyme honey from the hills above the village, and a bottle of raki usually sat open for whoever stopped by. The shop lets us pass that on to people who visit Crete, and to the ones who want a piece of it at home.
We stock what we would serve at our own table or give to our own family. Come into the shop in Stalída, or send us a message, and we will help you find the right thing for your kitchen, your skin, or someone back home.
